Nomination for the Golden Compass Award by the Association

for Industrial Design (ADI) to FREDDY by Irinox.

100 Design experts, members of the Permanent Design Observatory selected Freddy among the best designed products that compete for the XXI Golden Compass Award.
Freddy, the first rapid temperature blast chiller will thus be published in the ADI Design Index 2007 volume in March.  With this 2007 volume the excellence collection 2005/2006/2007 that will be given to the International Jury to bestow the XXI Golden Compass. 
Freddy will thus become part of the Golden Compass Award Historic Collection declared “national patrimony of extraordinary artistic and historic interest” by the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.

Freddy is the first rapid temperature blast chiller on the market for household use.  With Freddy the best of cold technology developed for professional use is now offered for domestic use.  With Freddy, anyone can conserve unaltered over time flavors, aromas and nutritional content of each food both cooked and uncooked.
Freddy is completely built in stainless steel Aisi 304and has an essential design totally free of protrusions:  the fitted version allows the coordinated matching with any type of kitchen.  In the free standing version, designed with precise dimensions (l 53,5 x w 57,6 x h 57,5 cm), Freddy can also be placed on any worktop.
