NEW DIMENSION OF FROZEN DIFFUSION
Freddy® is a blast chiller as well as a shock freezer. It is the first blast chiller / shock freezer for home use available on the market. Freddy® makes perfect preservation of food possible by reducing temperature very fast, up to 20 times quicker than a fridge, thus enabling food to be preserved unaltered. This blast chilling process can be carried as far as the food-freezing stage, which maintain intact the texture of food thanks to micro-crystallazation of the water content.
By putting a boiling-hot product that has just been cooked directly inside the blast chiller, the food cools down or freezes very quickly. Fresh food maintains its original freshness. The main advantage of this system lies in food quality preservation; moreover, by avoiding slow cooling down at room temperature, this preservation system hinders the proliferation of bacteria, moulds and whatever may alter the safety of foods.
This household appliance, both in the built-in or freestanding version, blast chills foods with no need to add preservatives or other chemicals. It uses extremely high technology which has already been tested for many years by great chefs in restaurants or patisseries all over the world.
Freddy® is entirely made of Aisi 304 - 18/10 stainless steel and is equipped with a core probe that accurately takes the inside temperature of food; it also has a convenient easy-to-use soft-touch control panel.
