Proceeding

Cut the fresh tuna into pieces of the desired size and place them in the jars. Add a pinch of coarse salt to each piece and cover completely with extra virgin olive oil, making sure the tuna is well immersed. Close the jars with their lids, sealing them carefully.

Place the jars in Freddy and select the ‘Low temperature cooking’ function, setting the temperature to 80°C for 40 minutes. At the end of cooking, cool the jars immediately to +3°C to preserve freshness and quality. 

Tips

Once prepared, you can store the tuna at room temperature for up to 10 days and in the refrigerator for up to 30 days.
