Banana and nut cakes

Ingredients

  • 140 gr of melted salted butter
  • 100 gr of sugar
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 tablespoons pecan nuts
  • 1 egg
  • 200 gr of flour
  • 1 packet of yeast

Proceeding

In a bowl beat the egg with the sugar until you get a cream. Continue to beat, add melted butter, flour and baking powder. Mix well, pour the honey and, subsequently, also the crushed bananas with a fork.

Add pecans and pour the mixture into a loaf cake pan covered with oven paper. Cook in the preheated oven to 180ºC for 25 minutes, then cover the mould with aluminum foil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

Tips

 You can make a generous amount of banana walnut cake and freeze it with the blast freezer function of the blast chiller
